PowerVision Corporation to Collaborate with Small Business Administration

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - November 13, 2000 - PowerVision Corporation, a Great Plains Solution Developer Partner, has entered into a collaborative educational partnership with the United States Small Business Administration (SBA). Working together with the SBA, PowerVision will educate business owners on how to increase their business success with e-Business solutions. PowerVision earned the authorization based on its understanding of the challenges and needs of small businesses.

PowerVision provides implementation, training, and consultation for companies and enterprises using e-Business solutions in the greater Baltimore/Washington area. Our consultants are experienced with database technologies, such as Oracle 8i, Sybase SQL Anywhere, Microsoft SQL Server, and Access. We have deployed several solutions using web technologies, including Great Plains, Java, XML, Microsoft's ASP, and HTML.

Last year, more than one million business owners contacted the SBA for assistance on technical, financial, and management needs. SBA offices are located throughout the United States and include Business Information Centers, Tribal Business Information Centers, One-Stop Capital Shops and Women's Business Centers. Each provides different levels of assistance to small business owners. Participating SBA offices will collaborate with a designated Great Plains partner to provide one-on-one consulting and assist with educational activities for SBA clients.
